Congratulations to Yufei Wang on Passing Her PhD Qualifying Examination

Congratulations to Yufei Wang on successfully passing her PhD qualifying examination in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore.

Yufei's dissertation, “Street Transformation in London, San Francisco, and Singapore: History, Implementation, and Governance Pathways,” examines how streets have been transformed and evolved over time across different institutional contexts. Using comparative case study methods and Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA), her research investigates the historical trajectories, implementation processes, and governance pathways of street transformation. The project aims to advance scholarship at the intersection of active travel and transportation governance from a comparative perspective.

We are also excited that Yufei will present her research on the comparative history of street transformation in San Francisco, London, and Singapore at the joint conference of the Research Committee 21 (RC21) of the International Sociological Association, the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research (IJURR), and the IJURR Foundation.
