Welcome to my research website!

My research lies at the intersection of travel behavior, transportation governance, and transportation policy, with the goal of advancing more sustainable and equitable transportation systems. More specifically, my work centers on three interconnected areas: the travel and residential patterns of older adults and their implications for planning; the persistence of car dependence and its implications for transportation policy; and how transportation policies—particularly those aimed at transportation decarbonization—are implemented and work on the ground.

Building on these three research pillars, as well as my teaching experience across institutions in the U.S. and Singapore, I aim to bring interdisciplinary perspectives to my teaching and professional service.
